Background & Problem
The existing LMS relied on manual browsing and inconsistent search for course discovery. As the learning catalog grew and users accessed training across devices, the desktop-only experience became difficult to navigate and scale.
Through a user survey and competitive LMS analysis, I identified key usability gaps that informed the redesign focused on course discovery, multi-device learning, and learner engagement.

Information Architecture
The platform was structured to simplify course discovery, support seamless learning, and make progress and achievements easily accessible.
Key User Journey
This flow highlights how users move from discovering a course to starting their learning journey.
Courses can also be accessed through the dashboard and side navigation.
Solution 1 – Improving Course Discovery
A search-first approach allows users to quickly explore relevant courses.Structured results and suggestions guide them to the right content effortlessly.
Grouping results into categories enables users to directly access the most relevant section.
Search results are organized across categories, allowing users to explore different types of content in one place.
Scalable filters help refine results quickly based on learning type, category, and skill level.
Solution – Enabling Multi-Device Learning
Users can seamlessly continue their learning across web, tablet, and mobile, ensuring flexibility and uninterrupted progress.

This ensures users can seamlessly continue learning across devices without losing progress, making it easier to fit learning into their daily routine
Solution – Driving Engagement & Recognition
We introduced rewards and certifications where users earn learning points that can be redeemed for goodies, while certificates help them showcase achievements and support career growth.
